Company moving headquarters, 100 jobs, to Downers Grove
SPRINGFIELD -- A manufacturer of industrial products is moving its headquarters to Downers Grove
Dover Corp. announced the move will bring 100 jobs.
The company will consolidate four "segment" headquarters in cities through the country and its New York corporate station at the new site in Illinois.
The move should be complete by next summer.
Dover president and CEO Bob Livingston says the company chose the Chicago area for its domestic and international air connections, central locations, housing availability and quality of life.
The company qualifies for corporate income-tax credits from the Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity based on job creation.
