Won't forget Roskam vote on health bill

Last year, U.S. Rep. Peter Roskam faced a closer-than-expected election against a virtually unknown challenger, Jill Morgenthaler, because his predominantly moderate district started to realize his tendency to say one thing and do another.

He says he supports workers, but he voted against worker's overtime rights. He says he is concerned about fiscal responsibility, but voted and supported the most expensive and biggest foreign policy mistake in American history. He says he supports families, but last year voted against children's health care, and most recently, he voted against health care for all Americans.

Seems like, according to Mr. Roskam, funding the wrong war at an exorbitant cost was fiscally responsible then, but creating a system to provide health care for all Americans seems to be "too expensive." His District voted for President Obama, and I'm confident we will not forget Mr. Roskam's voting record (94 percent of the time siding with the Party of No). We'll be happy to say "no" to Mr. Roskam on his next re-election bid!
