Des Plaines church hosts Spirit of Life Chorus Nov. 15

Join the Spirit of Life Chorus at the next stop on their fall concert tour, "A Baby Changes Everything," at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15 at Christ Church, United Church of Christ, 1492 Henry Ave., Des Plaines.

The ecumenical Christian chorus, with more than 100 members, will perform songs of the Christmas season. The concert is free, but donations of nonperishable food are being taken for the Des Plaines Self Help Closet. The church is located at Cora and Henry, with parking available in both the church lot and on the nearby streets.

The chorus will have three final concerts on this tour: 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 243 Wood Dale Road in Wood Dale; 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29 at Lutheran Church of the Master, 580 N. Kuhn Road in Carol Stream; and 4:30 p.m. Dec. 6 at St. Walter Catholic Church, 201 W. Maple St., in Roselle.
