Rondo agrees to extension with Celtics

BOSTON -- Rajon Rondo says he has agreed to a five-year contract extension with the Boston Celtics.

The deal has yet to be signed but the Celtics point guard said Monday that was just a "formality."

Rondo made his comments following Monday's practice. The Celtics visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday.
