Change the channel if you don't like it

According to Mr. Victor Darst and his letter of Oct. 16, the "Liberal voice (is) waning in today's media." His assertion was qualified, as many such claims are, by referencing Fox News.

I myself do not care much for Mr. Beck and only turn a curious ear to many of Fox's anchors and commentators, while toggling between them, CNN and MSNBC. FOX's obvious conservative bent notwithstanding, I always find such comments by Mr. Darst and other like him concerning.

Since he does not call CBS, NBC, WGN, CNN, MSNBC, or CNBC or any of the other many TV or radio stations to task, one can only assume that their reporting aligns with his view of the world which we must assume is, if not liberal, less than conservative.

I guess one dissenting voice among the many alternatives he could select from is just too much for Mr. Darst. I suggest that he turn Fox off when they get too shrill or outrageous or switch to another channel like I and others do. Perhaps Mr. Darst will only be happy when no media outlets challenge his views or the administration's policies. Where will America be then?
