View photos from Geneva's Sister City
The Geneva History Center will host a special program about Geneva's Sister City, Croissy-sur-Seine, France, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5.
For more than three years, Geneva citizens have worked with residents of Croissy-sur-Seine to exchange information, images, ideas, literature and artifacts. Several delegations from France have visited Geneva, and several delegations from Geneva have traveled to Croissy-sur-Seine.
Most recently, Geneva artists visited the French city to participate in an art exhibition. Now, Genevans have an opportunity to learn more about this growing relationship.
The program will include photographs of Croissy-sur-Seine by Fox Valley photographer Brian DeWolf, a panel discussion by former delegates and a presentation comparing and contrasting the two communities featuring rich images and historical anecdotes. Wine, cheese and refreshments will be provided.
Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for members and students.
The Geneva History Center is at 113 S. Third St. in the heart of Geneva's historic downtown shopping district. Museum hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
