Palatine's Women's Club gears up for annual charity auction
Mark your calendars for Saturday, Nov. 14. Bring your friends and prepare to have a great time at the Palatine Women's Club 19th annual Charity Auction.
The auction will take place at The Cotillion, 360 Creekside, Palatine (Route 53 and Route 14). Doors open at 10:30 a.m. with a live and silent auction preview, and mystery bag sale. Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. and the live auction starts at 12:30 p.m. All activities are finished by 3 p.m.
The live auction includes custom theme baskets for those "hard to buy for people," as well as "one of kind" items. Two hundred mystery bags sell fast and our silent auction contains many items you won't want to miss.
Proceeds from our auction are allocated to local charities such as the Children's Oncology Services, Harper College Education Scholarship Fund, Little Sisters of the Poor-St. Joseph's Home, Palatine Township Needy Family Fund, Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council, and many more.
A variety of organizations benefit from the group's service projects throughout the year. For current information visit palatine-womens-club.org.
Bring a nonperishable food item to donate to the Food Pantry to be eligible for a special prize.
The club cannot accept credit cards for any transactions the day of the auction.
Advance reservations are required. Reserve for one, a few, or a full table. Tables seat 10 or a cozy 12. Cost for your luncheon reservation and auction seat is $32.
