Man attacked with bat in Carpentersville
A man was attacked with a baseball bat in Carpentersville Thursday night.
Police and paramedics were called to the intersection of Robin Road and Birch Street just before 6:30 p.m.
A male in his 20s said he had been hit on the back of his head several times by a baseball bat, according to Carpentersville fire Lt. Todd Middendorf. He was transported to Sherman Hospital in Elgin with head injuries but was conscious.
