Give president time to do things right

The most important responsibility of the President of the United States is to make decisions based on facts and solid, unbiased input from a reasonable range of good minds; and keeping in mind, the necessary steps to implement those decisions.

It appears that Dick Cheney and his daughter are spending an unusual amount of time telling the American people how "flumuxed" the president is because he has taken his time making decisions regarding specific domestic issues, as well as the situation in Afghanistan. They apparently prefer the shoot-from-the-hip style of George W. Bush who had Cheney whispering in one ear and Rumsfeld whispering in the other. Bush is the guy who got us into an unnecessary war and was the driving force in the economic crash of 2008, situations largely due to his hurry up style. Well, that style of governing obviously doesn't work.

So, as impatient as we get with the length of time it takes to get decisions out of the white house, we should remember that when they finally come, we can be sure they are based on a great deal of input and thought. So, we should all take a pill and get used to having intelligence and thoughtfulness again reign supreme on Pennsylvania Avenue.
