Antioch gets by Round Lake

Antioch's football team closed out its season with a 20-14 win over host Round Lake on Friday night.

Antioch (5-4, 3-3) received rushing touchdowns from Josh Guadarrama (29 yards), Vinnie Holm (42) and Steve Lorenzini (48).

Round Lake (0-9, 0-6) got a 61-yard fumble return for touchdown by Nick Olson.

While Antioch became playoff-eligible with its fifth win, the Sequoits are on the bubble as far as making the state playoffs as an at-large team. The playoff field will be announced tonight.
