Obama is all style, no substance

So far it would appear our new president has accomplished about the same as president as he did when he was a state representative and as he did as the junior senator from Illinois. That is absolutely nothing. I suppose we could cut him some slack on the junior senator thing as he was only in that position for a matter of a few months before he decided he was destined for higher office.

There were many who felt he was not qualified nor experienced enough to be president. Count our current vice president and secretary of state among those who thought this. I would guess by now there are several people who voted for Obama who are now thinking this as well.

We are in a troubling time right now, American fighting forces are in two foreign countries, our economy is in its worst shape in decades, we have very suspicious characters developing nuclear weapons and the citizens of this great country are more divided then they have been in recent memory.

America needs strong leadership. We are being criticized by France of all countries for being weak and living in a dream world. How low does a country need to sink before it receives this type of criticism from a source like that?

Before those of you reading this letter pull out the very tired "Obama inherited these problems from Bush" please remind yourself that there was a Democrat-controlled Congress for two years leading up to the 2008 elections.

So we have our new president, isn't he cool, isn't it historic? Yes he is and yes it is. But this is what you get when the entire campaign was built on image and style and no substance at all.
