Unhappy with Comcast upgrade

I'm writing today to express my outrage concerning Comcast Cable with their forced upgrades to digital service for local consumers. Here in the Aurora and Montgomery areas, it has been nothing but a debacle from the onset.

I ordered the required equipment to continue getting the basic and enhanced basic service channels I already pay for, then followed the procedures to get it functioning. After several attempts and 10-plus calls to customer and technical support, swapping out the boxes and at least two service calls, I am still unable to receive the channels I am paying for. On top of that they require each consumer to add on an additional service package.

Each time I've gone to the local Comcast office in Aurora, the lines have been long with other consumers facing the same issues and lack of service. It is surprising that none of the local newspapers have covered this to date given the levels of consumers who are being negatively impacted, Comcast's lack of quality service and ability to correct the underlying issues and provide the services they are being paid to provide.
