• Burnella L. Smith, 28, of the 1400 block of Seven Pines Road, Schaumburg, was arrested about 8 p.m. Oct. 14 at 675 Meacham Road and charged with retail theft and contributing to the criminal delinquency of a minoer. Her court date is Nov. 3.

• Andrzej Wilczynski, 41, of the 5400 block of Elizabeth Place, Rolling Meadows, as arrested about 4 p.m. Oct. 14 and Oakton and Busse and charged with leading the scene of a property damage accident and DUI. His court date is Nov. 2.

• Vandals smashed the passenger-side window on a 2008 Ford E350 van in the 2500 block of Landmeier Road overnight Oct. 13. A GPS unit was taken. Damage and loss was $500.
