Kids Fight Cancer holds 25th gala

Kids Fight Cancer, a not-for-profit corporation that funds the Oncology Activity Center at Children's Memorial Hospital, announced that local news anchors Pat Tomasulo of the WGN Morning Show and Patrick Elwood of Fox Chicago News at Noon are the co-emcees of its 25th anniversary gala 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, in Rosemont.

Tickets are $80 or $150, depending on the package, and include dancing with Dennis DeYoung performing the music of Styx, open bar and dinner. Raffle tickets are for a chance to win $25,000 or other prizes.

The charity is campaigning to raise $5 million to fund the construction of a new, state-of-the-art facility at Children's Memorial Hospital.
