Area companies buy into Minor League baseball

Three local companies have agreed to be founding partners of the Lake County Fielders, the new minor league baseball team coming to Zion in 2010.

Lake Forest Hospital, Grand Appliance & TV and The Ray and Raymond Autogroup have all been become the Fielders' initial founding partners.

Lake Forest Hospital is the Fielders' official health care provider while Grand Appliance & TV, a local Zion fixture since 1930, is the title sponsor of the "Grand Appliance Party Deck," and will provide between-inning fun for the fans with its on-field "appliance race" promotion.

The Ray and Raymond Autogroup, the Fielders' official auto dealership, will be the title sponsor of the stadium club and lounge.

The Lake County Fielders will play a 100 game schedule in the Northern League.
