We should be proud of Obama's Nobel
All Americans no matter what their political persuasions, should be proud that our president won the Nobel Peace Prize. Some are saying he has not done enough. But the Nobel committee felt his commitment to rid the world of nuclear weapons, work toward Mideast peace, deal with climate change and two wars and use diplomacy with other countries was enough.
As the Daily Herald pointed out, the prize is also given to those to help them achieve their peacemaking goals and supply them with momentum. We hope it will do these thing for President Obama.
