Cameras can't hurt if you obey the law

Protesters have rallied against red-light cameras, saying they aren't needed and are just a hassle for everyone, but others believe that the red-light cameras keep the road safe.

I am completely for having red-light cameras on some corners of streets. Not only do they make people think before rolling right into a right turn, but they also prevent more accidents.

Many people are against them because they have gotten tickets for their poor judgment and when they don't abide by the laws of the road. The red-light cameras wouldn't be an annoyance if people just remembered to stop before turning right on red.

I don't believe that the cameras should be on every street corner, but I do think they are a good addition to the many ways we are making the roads safer for drivers everywhere.
