Burlington Central 2nd at BNC meet

Burlington Central's Clint Kleim finished second at the Big Northern Conference boys cross country meet Saturday, leading the Rockets to a runner-up finish as a team.

Richmond-Burton won the meet with 82 points and Burlington was awarded second place on a sixth-runner tie-breaker after scoring 82 points along with Byron.

Kleim ran the 2.85-mile course in 14:44. The Rockets' Mike Gulik also earned all-conference honors with a 10th place finish.

Hampshire's top runner was Tanner Holman in 12th place.
