Wheeling HS holds fall choral concert

Wheeling High School's Choral Department will present its fall concert on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the school's Robert E. Sang Theater. Groups scheduled to perform will include Wheeling Choir, Treble Choir, Concert Choir, New Dawns, Madrigals, and Midnight Blues.

According to Wheeling's director of vocal music, Kirstin Snelten, this concert will have a strong emphasis on multicultural music. Songs from Korean, Brazilian, Israeli, and West African cultural traditions will be featured. The ensembles will also perform pop, rock and contemporary pieces.

Admission at the door is $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. For more information call the choral department at (847) 718-7067.
