Vicente Fernandez to perform at Allstate

Vicente Fernandez, a musical icon in Mexico, brings his traditional ranchera singing and musical style to the Northwest suburbs. One of the true giants of Latin music, Fernandez will draw upon 35 years of performing history.

Dose of the 1980s

Travel back to the Reagan era with 16 Candles, a band whose mission is to bring the rock and pop sounds of the 1980s back to life. The group brings its mix of nostalgia and rock 'n' roll to Palatine Saturday, Oct. 17.

Hometown heroes
