A plea for java on a cold winter morning

I represent the many commuters that board the Metra train every morning in Arlington Heights.

The station is beautiful, it is accessible and it is an overall nice experience, but since last November we have been without a coffee shop at the station.

The newspaper stand has tried to work a deal with the village to sell coffee, but somehow it has never come to fruition.

Please, Mayor Mulder move this along, so we can all enjoy a hot cup of coffee on those cold wintry mornings. Save us from another stop before boarding the train.

Arlington Heights is the only station on the NW Metra line that does not offer a coffee shop for its patrons.
