Hoffman Estates cancels tonight's village meetings

Hoffman Estates officials have canceled tonight's committee meetings because of a lack of a quorum.

Trustees and other village staff were scheduled to convene at 7:30 p.m. at village hall. Instead the meetings will be rescheduled for a future date.

The general administration and personnel, transportation and road improvement, as well as the planning building and zoning committees were all scheduled to meet tonight. The agendas were relatively sparse for the Columbus Day meetings.

Trustees have a village board meeting scheduled for 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19. Committee meetings are next scheduled from 7:30 p.m., Monday Oct. 26.
