Foster has not been hiding from us

Several people have written regarding Rep. Bill Foster's lack of accessibility to his constituents, and I would just like to tell people that in five months I have twice sat face to face with him at his "meet and greet" meetings he has in his district. You sit one on one and he looks you in the eye and answers your questions and concerns, taking notes when needed.

Anyone can attend these meetings, which he has on a regular basis. I believe he said he has had 49 of these since taking office. Anytime I have called his office I have talked to a person - not a machine - and have been treated with courtesy.

I would urge people to call his office and get a schedule of upcoming meetings and be fair when addressing his availability.
