Grayslake Central wins again

Grayslake Central 3, Woodstock 1: The Rams won for the fourth time and five games, improving to 4-7 in the Fox Valley Fox, as Albert Acosta and Caleb Longenecker each scored his 12th goal.

Jose Roman also had a goal, while Kevin Anderson recorded the win in net by making 8 saves. Acosta added his ninth assist.

"We are starting to play quality soccer at the right time of year," Rams coach Mike McCaulou said.

Lake Forest 5, Evanston 1: Michael Shipp and Harry Shipp each had a goal and an assist for the Scouts in the nonconference match.

Lake Forest (13-3-1) also got goals from Cole Smith, Eeshan Talwar and Conner O'Connell. Scouts keeper Kurtis Teskoski made 5 saves.

Warren 3, LFA 1: The Blue Devils got second-half goals from Thiago Ganancio, Ruben Gayton and Brady Walsh (penalty kick).

Walsh stopped 10 shots in goal for Warren (10-6-3).
