Zion-Benton (1-5, 0-3) at Warren (5-1, 2-1)
When: 7:30 p.m. today
Last week Zion-Benton lost to Stevenson, 35-7; Warren lost to Lake Zurich, 38-14.
Skinny Greg Kennedy's 104 rushing yards against Lake Zurich pushed him over 1,000 for the season (1,042, 8.2 average), but that and his 33-yard touchdown burst might have been the only highlights for Warren, which trailed 17-7 at halftime and 31-7 after three quarters. Fellow Blue Devils running back Tom Lindal carried 10 times for 68 yards and for the season has rushed for 647 yards. He and Kennedy have combined for 20 rushing TDs, with the latter leading with 12. ... Matt Goad and Jon Duncan are Warren's leading tacklers with 49.5 and 49, respectively. Each player had 10.5 stops against Lake Zurich. ... Zion-Benton snapped a 19-game losing streak in Week 4 against North Chicago, but since then the Zee-Bees have scored just 7 points against both Libertyville and Stevenson. Z-B's only TD against Stevenson came on a flea-flicker from Dylan Fout to Lucas Hebenway. The Zee-Bees boast some solid running backs in Michael Braswell, Jaevuan Moton and Colby Green.
