You're still aces to me

It's tough to watch you close after having trudged your aisles for 40 years looking for just the right bolt, battery, butterfly-nut or what have you.

Who's going to greet me by name as did Carol and Lorrie? Who's going to care about my basement, not any basement, but mine personally when trouble strikes. Who will find just the right lawn chaise, as Cliff did? Who'll fix my antique walking stick, as did Beverly? And, most amazingly, who will remember that my old friend Dom DeLuise once visited here years ago and express condolences to me on his death as did Scott? Finally, who on earth could replace a broken wire on a beloved cheese slicer with a piece of guitar string from Village Music?

The people at Ace Hardware in West Dundee did it all and so much more. What a sad loss.

My everlasting thanks and good wishes to all. Please always remember how much your personal service and expertise meant.
