Stocking stuffer drive for troops at Batavia Sam's Club

Batavia Sam's Club is teaming up with Operation Support Our Troops Illinois and Batavia Cares to collect items for the deployed troops.

Items will be used to fill 5,000 Christmas stockings going to American troops deployed around the world.

The "Shop and Drop" will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11 at the Batavia Sam's Club on Randall Road.

Volunteers will be available to provide information about the program and a list of items needed will be handed out.
