Realty group open house Sunday

Meritage Realty Group is celebrating its arrival on Dunton Street in downtown Arlington Heights with an open house Sunday, Oct. 11.

The event from 3-6 p.m. at 7 S. Dunton St. will feature food and wine donated by neighboring businesses. Children will receive pumpkins, and dogs are invited for a doggy beverage sampling.

A voluntary donation of $7 is suggested to benefit the Finnerty children who lost their parents and brother in a house fire last spring. Proceeds from a silent auction will also go to the same fund.

Meritage celebrates being green with signs using old doors and other salvaged items and a pedicab available for buyers' viewing nearby homes.
