Bartlett artists wanted for 'Walls Can Talk, Vol. II'
Arts in Bartlett seeks submissions for the joint Bartlett Historical Society and Arts in Bartlett exhibit "These Walls Can Talk, Vol. II" to be displayed at the Village Hall Gallery Oct. 26-Nov. 21.
High school students and adults are invited to submit photos or drawings/paintings of historic Bartlett area buildings - defined as one that is at least 50 years old.
If you photograph a building that you do not own, you must ask the permission of the owner. Those who are able to submit "then and now" duo photographs are especially encouraged to do so.
This exhibit will include photos of homes that were recognized by the Bartlett Historical Society in 2009 with plaques for their homes.
The Bartlett Historical Society may be able to help you obtain a historic photograph of the building if you do not have one.
The deadline for submission is Thursday, Oct. 22. Application forms with more details are available at the Village Hall Gallery (2nd floor), the Bartlett Center for the Arts at 117 W. Railroad Ave., and online at www.artsinbartlett.org under News and Events.
