Remember ACORN vote at election time

On Sept. 15 the Senate voted 83-7 to deny funding to ACORN after it was revealed that ACORN had offered to help a person posing as a prostitute and another posing as a pimp obtain financing for houses they planned to turn into brothels in three different cities.

They also offered to help them avoid paying taxes.

Of the seen senators who were in favor of supporting ACORN's illegal activities, two were our senators, Dick Durbin and Roland Burris. Are these the voices you want representing the people of Illinois?

Is this the morality we hope to pass on to our children? Is it any wonder the nation sees Illinois as a laughing stock and a hotbed of corruption? How can either of these men defend their positions on this vote except to say that they are in the pocket of extreme left wing groups?

When we finally get around to rooting out corruption in Illinois and getting rid of the dead wood in Springfield, let's not forget these two clowns in Washington.
