Man accused in deadly shooting outside strip club

BROOKLYN -- A southwestern Illinois man remains jailed on $1 million bond after being accused of fatally shooting a man outside a strip club.

St. Clair County prosecutors on Thursday charged 25-year-old Dorian Boyd with one count of first-degree murder.

Authorities say 22-year-old Dion Hardin of Brooklyn was shot early Sept. 22 as he was leaving Club Peek-A-Boo in the village of Brooklyn. He later died at a hospital.

Illinois State Police took Boyd into custody Tuesday.
