Hydrocephalus Walk Saturday in Arlington Hts.

Walkers concerned with research and treatment of hydrocephalus, a chronic accumulation of fluid in the brain that affects one or two in every 1,000 children born each year, will participate in the fifth annual Hydrocephalus Walk on Saturday, Oct. 3 in Arlington Heights. Congressman Peter Roskam will join the walkers at Lake Arlington, 2201 N. Windsor Drive, starting at 1 p.m. Registration begins at noon. Money raised will benefit the Hydrocephalus Association, which is dedicated to research and providing support, education and advocacy to individuals, families and medical professionals.
