Naperville man charged with possession of child porn

Naperville police have arrested a man they say had at least 300 images of child pornography on his computer.

Eric G. LePak, 57, of 512 E. 12th Ave., has been charged with two counts of possession of child pornography, Sgt. William Davis said.

Police began investigating LePak in August and executed a search warrant Tuesday at his home. They seized one computer and discovered both images and movies deemed to be child pornography, according to Davis.

He said police do not have reason to believe LePak made any contact with the minors in the images.

LePak is being held at DuPage County jail. His bail was set at $150,000 and he is due in court Oct. 15.

Possession of child pornography is a Class 3 felony punishable by up to five years imprisonment.
