Thanks for help with motorcycle charity ride

I'd like to thank the generous people who participated and donated their time, talents and resources in making our Motorcycle Charity Ride Aug. 30 a huge success. We were able to donate all proceeds - $1,328 - to the Ecker Center for Mental Health.

Thank you especially to the Goodwill Network Committee at Baird & Warner that planned and organized the event as well as all those people who volunteered and took time away from their business and lives to make this event a success.

Thank you to the pubs and bars that allowed our motorcycle riders to stop and have their cards stamped, and who provided space and resources for our ending party.

Thank you to the organizations that donated prizes so that each participants was able to take something home and to the newspapers and radio stations who publicized our event. And to the Carpentersville police department, which assisted us the day of the event. We look forward to next year's event being even bigger and better!
