Obama's czars need much closer look
I believe that the Daily Herald, and the media in general, has done a disservice to the readers and viewers by not examining the people that the president has appointed to assist him in governing.
It is particularly disturbing considering that the persons appointed do not have to go through any Congressional vetting process.
Van Jones, recently resigned czar, is a point in fact. I also believe that Mark Lloyd, diversity czar, needs to be examined more closely. This new FCC "czar" recently wrote "It should be clear by now that my focus here is not freedom of speech or the press... This freedom is all too often an exaggeration... At the very least, blind references to freedom of speech or the press serve as a distraction from the critical examination of other communications policies."
Is he really the person we want in charge of what we can read, and/or listen to?
