More Newman, 'Trek' for fans

"Paul Newman: The Tribute Collection"

The late Paul Newman was a great actor and a true Hollywood star. Although he appeared in more than 65 movies in his 50-year career, he was known later in life as a humanitarian and a supporter of various charities.

This special collection is a 17-disc set featuring 13 Newman films, along with a 136-page softbound book including images of Newman, along with cast and crew. You'll also get excerpts from each film, and personal quotes from Newman.

The films are "Exodus,'" "The Hustler," "Hombre," "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," "Towering Inferno," "Quintet," "The Verdict," "The Long, Hot Summer," "From the Terrace," "Buffalo Bill and the Indians, or Sitting Bull's History Lesson," "What a Way to Go," "Rally 'round the Flag, Boys!" and "Adventures of a Young Man."

The endless 'Trek'

Fans of the Star Trek films have two new collections to add to their libraries:

"Star Trek: Original Motion Picture Collection" - Captain Kirk and Spock are featured in the films "Star Trek: The Motion Picture," "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan," "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock," "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home," "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier" and "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country."

"Star Trek: The Next Generation Motion Picture Collection" - Captain Picard takes the helm of the Enterprise in this next set featuring "Generations," "First Contact," "Insurrection" and "Nemesis."

"Wallace & Gromit: The Complete Collection"

Wallace and Gromit are the main characters in a series of animated shorts that were created by Nick Park. The British characters are made from clay and shot in stop-motion clay animation. Wallace is a cheese-loving inventor; Gromit is his loyal and intelligent dog. They are a positive pair and are recognized throughout the world. The stories are fun and entertaining for fans of all ages.

The four-disc set has "A Grand Day Out," "The Wrong Trousers," "A Close Shave" and "A Matter of Loaf and Death."

"The Judy Garland Show, Vol. 2"

Judy Garland had a terrific television show on CBS that showcased many guest stars and lots of music. This collection features two of the shows; the guest stars were Barbra Streisand, The Smothers Brothers, Ethel Merman, Ray Bolger and Jane Powell.

Garland and Streisand sing "Get Happy" and "Happy Days Are Here Again" and then join Merman for "There's No Business Like Show Business." Other songs are "You Made me Love You," "For Me and My Gal" and "We're Off to See the Wizard." The shows are classic and ones that you should own.
