Quinn hopes bid team outfit fits
Gov. Pat Quinn leaves next week for the International Olympic Committee meeting in Copenhagen and what he'll be wearing is on his mind.
Quinn said he has been measured for the official apparel the Chicago delegation will wear. Now he's just hoping it fits.
The outfits won't be unveiled until the IOC meeting in Copenhagen.
That's when Olympic officials will decide whether Chicago hosts the 2016 Summer Games. Chicago is a finalist along with Tokyo, Madrid and Rio de Janeiro.
Quinn said he leaves next Wednesday for Copenhagen.
He wants the Olympics to come to Chicago because he said the games will mean jobs and other economic opportunities for the city and the state.
