BLOOMINGTON -- The boyhood home of Adlai Stevenson will go on the market next month for $580,000.
The boyhood home of Adlai Stevenson will go on the market next month for $580,000.
The same includes an easement that would prevent the new owner from changing most of the exterior.
The two-story English Arts and Crafts-style house was built in Bloomington in 1899.
Stevenson is a former Illinois governor and ran for president in 1952 and '56. He also was U.S. ambassador the United Nations for four years.
