Melvins, Signature, Down to play in suburbs

Signature, a suburban rock band hailing from the Algonquin area, will bring its brand of soulful rock to Palatine for a show on Saturday. The band is finishing up its first album, which it hopes to release later this year.

Get down with Down
Down, a New Orleans-based hard-rock supergroup consisting of members of Pantera and Corrosion of Conformity, will play in Libertyville on Saturday with the Melvins, the legendary Seattle band that helped kick off the "grunge" movement of the 1990s.
