One thousand experts from 250 home renovation, remodeling, building and design companies will be gathering Sept. 26 and 27 at Pheasant Run Resort for the 50th season Old House New House Home Show. The event returns with creative solutions for every aspect of home living, repair, maintenance and enhancement. The Mega Center and Ballroom, 4051 E. Main St. in St. Charles, will be brimming with cutting-edge products and innovative services to help homeowners beautify, restore and transform home surroundings. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p. m. Sunday. Parking is free. Adult admission is $7, seniors, age 62 and older and children, 18 and younger attend free. Healthy Home: The Visiting Nurse Association of Fox Valley will host one of the season's first flu shot clinics to keep homes healthy this fall.
