How do you equate Reagan with Kennedy?

On Sept. 9 Victor Darst wrote about the person who was "aghast" by the praise given Sen. Edward Kennedy by the news media. Rest assured, Mr. Darst, that there are millions of us who feel the same way.

How Darst equates this with President Reagan and the Iran Contra incident is a mystery to me. His statement that all we know is that Mr. Kennedy waited for nine hours before reporting the accident is erroneous. We know many more details and they were brushed aside by law officials.

There is no need to enlighten him on the full story that the rest of us know.
