Marine's death lost among the ads
I am writing today in regard to the story you ran on Sept. 6, "Death of a Marine." I found it awfully sad that the story of this soldier, who died in battle for our country, was among nothing but advertisements for area businesses.
I find it awfully sad that his story means so little while many of us go on about our days not thinking of the brave men and women who give their lives every day so we can live the way we do. I personally think that these young men and women deserve a whole lot more from all of us, including the Daily Herald.
