Scouting: Barrington @ Prospect
Barrington (1-2) at Prospect (3-0)
When 6:30 p.m. today at George Gattas Stadium
Last week Barrington lost to Rolling Meadows 27-17; Prospect d. Conant 41-21
Outlook There is no break for Barrington after facing QB Jimmy Garoppolo last week. "Our biggest concern is just trying to contain the Miles Osei show," Barrington coach Joe Sanchez said of the Prospect QB. "There is no doubt he's a special football player with very good skill players around him. I really do believe we are seeing two of the best QBs in the state in back-to-back weeks." Barrington handled Osei last year in a 31-12 win to even the series at 7-7 but Grant DePalma showed last week the Knights can run the ball with 4 TDs. Prospect will face another big challenge up front and the running threats of QB Terrance Terry and Chase Murdock. "Terry is very explosive and their defense is very active and creates chaos," said Prospect coach Brent Pearlman. "Barrington is a good team that could easily be 3-0."
