Former employees sue Barrington Pools

Two former employees filed suit against Barrington Pools Tuesday in U.S. District Court seeking back pay for overtime.

Citing federal and state statutes, John Tokarz and Mike Fiore claimed they are due unpaid wages, as they were treated as salaried employees when they did not legally qualify for salary exemptions, such as unpaid overtime.

"It's a wage and hour case," said their attorney, John Billhorn.

The suit seeks an unspecified amount of money and damages.

Employees at Barrington Pools formally declined to comment on the suit.
