It's time to hear the reasonable voices

Cal Thomas tries to wordsmith his way into convincing us, without coming out and blatantly using the word "Nazi," that our president's health care policy will lead us down the pathway similar to that of the 1933 Sterilization Law in pre-WWII Germany. At first I thought his editorial was using the Lunatic Fringe examples to talk sense into the readers. No. He was serious.

I'm scared that there are people, like Cal Thomas, who truly think Obama's health care policies are going to lead us to policies of the Third Reich. I'm even more scared of the fact that we have people, in Arlington Heights, who would truly believe this.

Yesterday, at the Arlington Heights post office, I saw a group with the posters of Obama with a Hitler mustache. I had never been more embarrassed to live in Arlington Heights. In a town of 74,000, it is time for the sane and thinking population to speak out.
