• Shaina A. Nordlund, 20, of the 1700 block of Huntington Road, St. Charles, and Jessica C. Martin, 20, of the 200 block of North Sixth Street, were ticketed for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, at 12:30 a.m. Monday, according to a police report. An officer reported smelling alcohol on their breath while investigating whether they were old enough to buy cigarettes at a store in the 600 block of West State Street.
• A 26-inch S.E. Lager single-speed bicycle, brown with a beer mug decal and gray tires with black stripes, was stolen off a rack at the train station, 328 Crescent Place, between 4:40 p.m. Sept. 5 and 8:30 a.m. Sunday, police said. Its cable lock was missing.
• Justin H. Fanslau, 39, of the 700 block of Grove Street, DeKalb, was charged with public intoxication at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday, according to a police report. Geneva police questioned him when they saw his bicycle lying in the roadway in the 1600 block of West State Street, with him standing on the curb. They say he refused to move the bicycle from the street when asked, and told them he was taking a break while riding to the DuPage County courthouse in Wheaton. Police reported it appeared he had been injured in a fight, as he was missing several front teeth, had broken blood vessels in his left eye and a cut on his left hand. After processing, he was unable to pay for a taxi to continue his journey, so police dropped him off at Route 38 and Fabyan Parkway.
Kane County
• About $10,000 in cash was reported stolen Wednesday from a residence on the 300 block of Virgil Street, Virgil Township, police said.
