Former governor gets flak from TV host
Former Gov. Rod Blagojevich's book tour hit a speed bump when he showed up on comedian Bonnie Hunt's talk show.
During Thursday's taping of "The Bonnie Hunt Show," Hunt urged Blagojevich to take responsibility for actions and not blame others for his impeachment and later indictment for allegedly trying to sell or trade President Barack Obama's former Senate seat for personal gain. The show was aired Friday.
Blagojevich's 259-page memoir faults others for his downfall. Hunt, who was born in Chicago, asked Blagojevich if at some point he wanted to be accountable for his actions. She also asked him why more people weren't sticking up for him if he's getting such a bad rap.
At one point, Blagojevich raised his voice to Hunt, pointed his finger at the audience and said his name would be cleared.
