HR 3200: Read it and you won't want it
It took me a while, but I finally finished reading HR 3200 - the proposed health care legislation. It was a real eye-opener.
Our current politicians supporting HR 3200 must not have read it, or read only the page and sentences supporting the talking points they are encouraged to use instead of the facts. Anyone supporting this bill will do a disservice to the very people they claim to champion.
Parts of the bill I agree with are full of vague rules and guidelines. I had to read many sections several times because it did not make sense. I asked several friends that are far more educated than me and they had trouble understanding it. I asked if it violates the constitution in any way. But no one would answer me. Silence is sometime more truthful than the answers usually given.
Before anyone says they support or oppose HR 3200, ask them if they read it. If they did not you may be talking to a brainwashed talking point bobblehead. If they say "yes," they have read it, make them tell you where in the bill his, or her, facts are located. If they cannot or will not, they either did not read it or are not telling you the truth.
Everyone I know - liberal, conservative, Democrat, Republican, Libertarian and Independent - who was for HR 3200 changed their mind once they read it. No wonder the liberal Democrats wanted to rush it through.
