Lake Zurich restaurant opens

Egg Shells restaurant recently opened for breakfast and lunch at 596 Route 22 in Lake Zurich near Route 12.

The eatery specializes in homemade doughnuts, bagels and bread. Other highlights include steak burgers, four-egg omelettes and breakfast burritos.

The business is open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
