Ill. pair accused of burglarizing homes during funerals
MOLINE -- A Rock Island mother and son are accused of robbing people's homes during funerals.
Moline police say 66-year-old Judith Squires and her 40-year-old son Glen Squires used the obituaries to look for victims and funeral service times.
The burglaries occurred over several months during funeral services.
The Squires were arrested Friday. They're charged with burglary and criminal damage to property.
Moline police say several law enforcement agencies and the Mississippi Valley Funeral Home Directors Association assisted in the investigation.
